OK- I saw this in the paper yesterday and I was appauled. Aren't we messing too much when we're making synthetic boots for animals? But I guess zoos are already kinda messing with their lives...
i actually think this is amazing. i think it is lovely that these people want to create special boots to alleviate foot pain in elephants in their care, regardless of the complicated zoo and animal/human relationship issues.
