I found a perfectly fitting pippi longstocking shirt for raquel last week in a thrift store... pippi is her childhood heroine, and i was happy that she put it on right away and didn't take it off, even to sleep!
raquel now lives in highland park, los angeles. she's just starting to explore her neighborhood and get settled- it's so intense to do that. i think she's doing a good job, but she's also more stressed than i've ever seen her.... (she has her education reform work charts taped up on her kitchen walls!)

thanks, eileen! and especially, thanks to jenn! i washed my shirt and am planning to wear it this coming weekend as i kick off a new sense of relaxation. class and homework will be over tomorrow. (at least til august...) yippee!
